Omid Khalifeh studied neuroscience at UCLA before earning his Juris Doctor at Chapman University School of Law, where he attended on a full tuition scholarship and received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award. That scientific foundation still shapes how he practices; a patent is a technical document before it is a legal one, and understanding the invention is where the work begins.
In 2009 he founded Omni Legal Group, a boutique intellectual property firm that has grown to offices in Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, and Santa Monica. His practice spans patent and trademark prosecution, copyrights, trade secrets, internet law, and IP litigation, representing everyone from first-time inventors to Fortune 500 companies.

He is admitted to practice before all California state courts, the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, the Ninth Circuit, and the Federal Circuit, and is a registered patent attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
